May Thomas (19*-) is a playwright.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She is the author of Laying the Foundation (1951) , Poor Dear Mrs. Smith (19* - A play written especially for the Women's Institutes of Natal), Border Folk (1949). Two of her later plays were prize winners in the play competition sponsored by the Pretoria branch of the S.A. Council for English Education and were performed at the Arcadia School Hall on 30 November, 1968.
