Was the co-founder and producer of the TV journal programme Carte Blanche. He co-produced Broer Matie with Jans Rautenbach in 1984.

He was the designer and builder of the original Barnyard Theatre which he and his wife, the actress Sybil Coetzee, created on their farm near Plettenberg Bay 1996. Later formed the Barnyard Theatres and turned this idea into a franchise, building Barnyard Theatres in a variety of spaces (schools, shopping malls, etc) across the country. Also the co-founder, with Duck Chowles, of the Barnyard Theatre Production Company.
