Let the Day Perish is a novel by South African lawyer and novelist Gerald Gordon, QC (1909-1998).

Published 1952 by Methuen, London.

Translations and adaptations

Adapted for the stage by Julie Mullard. Another adaptation of this novel was by Cyril Chosack.

Television rights were negotiated in 1971.

Performance history in South Africa

The Chosack adaptation was produced at the Masque Theatre in the 1950s.
