Laat die Kerse Brand! en Ander Eenbedrywe ("Let the candles burn and other one-act plays") is a collection of one-act plays by Gerhard J. Beukes (1913–1998).

The title is sometimes written without the exclamation mark, and/or written in lower case as Laat die kerse brand en ander eenbedrywe - since this is the usual biblioigraphic convention in Afrikaans.

The collection

Besides the title play (Laat die Kerse Brand!), the collection also contains:

Die Winde van U Toorn

Oktobernag

In my Dae

Die Hand wat Hy Eenmaal Geneem Het

Braaiboud.

First published by J.L. van Schaik in 1945, reprinted 1946 and 1947.
