Laat-Februarie 1922 (“Late-February 1922”) is a play by Johan Kapp

The original text

Written in 1979 about the white miner's strike on the Witwatersrand in 1922, it is described as "'n Drama in drie dele met twee tussenspele wat later plaasvind ("a drama in three parts with two interludes that take place later").

(This was also the theme of the 1937 play Red Rand by Lewis Sowden.)

The play was first performed in 1983 and text published in the collection Rostrum: verhoogtekste by Tafelberg in 1985.
