Die Koffiehuis
Die Koffiehuis or Die Afrikaner Koffiehuis ("The Coffee House" or the "Afrikaner Coffee House") was a venue in Cape Town in 1915 and used by the Oranjeklub for amateur performances, including the famous Koffiehuis Konserte ("Coffee House Concerts").
On 11 May 1934 it also played host to the first performances by the Kaapstadse Afrikaanse Toneelvereniging (KAT), namely Rooibruin Blare and Ruwe Erts, both by H.A. Fagan. It stayed in use as the KAT’s regular venue until 1940.
