J. Stigling (18**-18**) was a Cape Town based theatre caretaker and actor.

In 1839 he is listed as the caretaker of the African Theatre. According to F.C.L. Bosman (1928 p 282), he possibly also performed in some plays (e.g. as "Spompadrille" in De Burger Edelman in 1825, under the pseudonym R.S. Alleman).
