The journalist and playwright Cas van Rensburg was a mentor for the society, and members included the actor and playwright Sherman Pharo, as well as Bejorgyn Arendse, Remus Sebonka, Natasha Steneveldt and Helen Swartz.

Among the venues they used was the Selfbousaal in Hawston.

In 2013 they performed a play Cas van Rensburg had written for them, at the Kalfiefees, under the direction of Van Rensburg
