Garth Anderson directed Noël Coward's Still Life (1980s), The Story of an African Farm (1988), Faces in the Wall (1994), White Men with Weapons (1996), The Blue Period of Milton van der Spuy (1997-8), Macbeth (2002), Othello (2002).

He acted in The Taming of the Shrew (NAPAC 1981), Fiddler on the Roof (CAPAB 1995), Oklahoma!, The Circus Adventure (1994), Maid in the New South Africa (1996).
