Fiona Chisholm is a Cape Town based journalist, ballet and theatre reviewer and arts editor.


Biography

The daughter of composer Erik Chisholm and his wife Diana, she was born in Glasgow. Sister to Sheila Chisholm and Morag Chisholm. They came to South Africa in 1946 when their father was appointed Principal and Dean of the College of Music at the University of Cape Town.


Contribution to South African Theatre, Film, Media and Performance

Respected theatre and performance critic at the Cape Timesfor many years and later arts editor for the newspaper.

She was a long time judge of the Fleur du Cape Theatre Awards and in 2001 herself received the Fleur du Cap Lifetime Award for her contribution to the industry.
