RootsWeb.com[2] is a website and resource designed to connect people and enable them to help each other and to share genealogical research, and thus hosts volunteer genealogy projects on the Internet, with volunteers who locate, transcribe, and publish genealogical data and help new users. Through this work they meet other genealogists with similar interests.
