Performance history in South Africa

1938: Presented by the University of Cape Town’s University Dramatic Society at the Little Theatre in September, directed by Betty Oliver.

1964: The Brian Brooke Company presented British comedian Vic Oliver in this play in Pretoria and Springs in June 1964 and in Johannesburg from 26 June to 15 August 1964. Directed by Petrina Fry. The cast: Frank Douglass, Valerie Miller, John Whiteley, Patrick Mynhardt, Jose Trevelyan, Patricia Sanders, Rosemary Whitfield, Brian Mills, Mary McKinley, Jack Payne. Set by Clarence Wilson.
