Staged by the Universiteitsteater Stellenbosch in May 1974 in the H.B. Thom Theatre, directed by Neels Hansen, with Johann van Heerden (Leontes), Lourens Voges (Mamillius), Chris Truter (Camillo), Emile Aucamp (Antigonus), Herman Pretorius (Polixenes), Jakkie Groenewald (Archidamus & Autolycus), Fred le Roux (Skaapherder & Hofmeester), Lochner de Kock (Seun & Sipier), Frans Palm (Florizel), Kosie de Villiers (Matroos), Jeannette du Plessis (Hermione), Sybil Coetzee (Paulina), Esté Heydenrych (Paulina), Bridget Collie (Emelia), Rina Nienaber (Mopsa), Michelle Venter (Dorcas) and others.
