Translations and adaptations

Translated into Dutch as De Militaire Stand (tooneelspel in 5 bedrijven) and published in Leeuwarden by Wed. J.P. de Boij, 1805.

Performance history in South Africa

1823: Produced in the Dutch translation by the amateur company Tot Nut en Vermaak on 2 August in the African Theatre, with De Listige Weduwe (Von Kotzebue).
