Die Rooi Lêer ("the red file") is a play by Mikro (penname of Christoffel Hermanus Kühn, 1903–1968).

The original text

Sub-titled " 'n satiriese klug in drie bedrywe" ("a satirical farce in three acts"), it was first performed in 1960 and published by J.L. van Schaik in 1961.
