Die Koning Raak Gewoond Daaraan ("The King is getting used to it") is an Afrikaans one act children's play by Johan Hugo and Deon Wiggett.

The original text

A radically adapted and (South) Africanised version of Kejserens nye Klæder (first published on 7 April 1837), Hans Christian Andersen's beloved Danish tale known in English as The Emperor's New Clothes.

Though performed, the play does not seem to have been published. A typed copy of the work is held in the archive of the Drama Department at the University of Stellenbosch.

198*: Performed in Stellenbosch by Paul Roos Gimnasium, directed by Johan Hugo with Charl Möller, Abrie van der Westhuizen, Wilhelm Rabie, Deon Wiggett, Jaco le Roux, Willem Bredenhahn, Stephanus Weyers, Marcel Villet, Johan Winckler, Euvrard Loubser and Rocco Nienaber. Sound by Rocco Nienaber and lighting by Wilhelm Rabie. Paul Roos Gimnasium did it at the KKNK in 1996.
