David Wood (19**-) is an English playwright and actor.

Biography

David Wood has been referred to as the UK's 'National Children's Dramatist'.

He has written over seventy productions, including original plays, adaptations and pantomime 'substitutes'. He has also written screenplays and children's books.

In 2004 he was awarded an OBE for services to literature and drama.
