D.K.T. Teaters (Edms) Bpk ["D.K.T. Theatres (Co) Ltd", with the D.K.T. deriving from = Drama, Klug ("farce") en Treurspel ("Tragedy") ] A professional Afrikaans theatre company founded in Pretoria by Chris Steenkamp in 1938. Produced plays such as Nita die Danseres (B.Mellet), Die Hotnotkatriel , Erasmus se Erfgename, and Vriendskap en Opoffering (by W. Ewald. M. Steenkamp). The company also published a theatre journal Kuns en Humor ("Art and Humour"). ** (Binge, 1969)
