He joined CAPAB in 1967. He has been designing lighting for the setting at Maynardville since 1975 when CAPAB first collaborated with the founders.

Stage manager for Antony and Cleopatra, Pa, Maak vir my 'n Vlieër Pa, Mother Courage, Rookery Nook,

Lighting designer for The Tempest (1982) (and stage manager), Othello, As You Like It, Kaspar, Happy Birthday, The Lulu Plays,

Acted in Op Hoop van Seën, Betrayal, Death of a Salesman, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The School for Scandal, The Seven Ages, The Relapse,

Directed The Taming of the Shrew (1984),

Awards, etc

In 1974 he won the Player’s Club’s Johan Nel award for his contribution to the arts.
