Bloodstream is a 1992 play by Andrew Buckland. Described by the playwright as "an anatomical comedy". In 1992 it won two IGI Life Vita Awards, for Play of the Year and for Best Script, and also the Dawie Malan Award for Best New South African Script in 1992. In 1993 it was awarded the Scotsman Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Performance history in South Africa

Staged by Mouthpeace Productions in 1992 at the Grahamstown Festival, directed by Janet Buckland, featuring Andrew Buckland and Lionel Newton. The same production was staged in 1994 in the Dock Road Theatre after returning from a run at the Edinburgh Festival and also at the Market Theatre.
