(19*-) A immensely popular character in Stellenbosch, a teacher and lecturer in English language and an amateur actor and director. He was an active member of the Libertas Theatre Club in Stellenbosch. ** Among the work he directed was The Reluctant Debutante in 1978, which won the Cape Times Award for best amateur production of the year in the Western Cape.
