Adam Small BeJazzed is a musical performance devised by Natalia de Rocha, Camillo Lombard and Kurt Egelhof.

A jazz musical based on the published and unpublished poems of poet, dramatist and philosopher Adam Small (1936-2016) [1], devised as a tribute to the author by Natalia de Rocha, with music composed by Camillo Lombard and Kurt Egelhof


Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

2015: First performed on 14 January 2015 in the Artscape Arena Theatre by Natalia de Rocha and 8 members of the Applauz Arts Initiative, along with Adam Small The Man (a work made up of extracts from his plays)

2018: Performed on 23 November by Natalia de Rocha and members of the Applauz Arts Initiative, along with an extract from the Stellenbosch University Drama Department's production called Cry, Our Beloved Country. Met/Sonder Apologie, on the inauguration of the Adam Small Theatre Complex on the campus of Stellenbosch University.
