Don Juan in Hell is a play by George Bernard Shaw.


The play consists of a dream sequence , taken from Act III of his Man and Superman. Today this scene is often performed as an independent play and has also been published as such.

Basically the work consists of a debate between Juan, the Devil, the Commander, and Doña Ana aboyut the respective the advantages of Hell (art, beauty, love, pleasure) and Heaven (rational discourse and promulgation of the Life Force).
