Clarence Darrow, by American playwright David W. Rintels based on a novel by Irving Stone. First performed at the Helen Hayes Theatre, New York City, 1974. Published by Doubleday (New York City), 1975.

Directed by Rex Garner for Pieter Toerien in 1984, performed at the Baxter Theatre (22 February to 10 March) and the 1984 Grahamstown Festival, featuring Richard Haines. Set and lighting designed by Jannie Swanepoel; Stage manager Sue Roberts; Costume by Noreen Sterling.
