A comic opera in three acts, by Luscombe Searelle, with libretto by Walter Parke, based on a story from the Arabian Nights. Presented in 1887 by the Searelle Opera Company at the Theatre Royal, Cape Town as part of a six-month season of opera. Also toured to Port Elizabeth. Had 223 performances in Australia, before being presented in South Africa. Printed in Cape Town by *** in 18**.
