(17**-18**) Printer and perhaps bookseller. He printed or sold copies of the play De Vaderlandsche Boer ("The Patriot Farmer") by A. Lamme. Bosman (1928, p112) states that if he had not imported the books, but re-printed copies for sale from an original copy of the book, this may have been the first literary work printed at the Cape.

The print run was possibly requested for the purposes of an unrecorded production in Cape Town in 1809.
