A musical that pokes fun at adult foibles, based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. Book, music and lyrics by Clarke Gesner.

Performance history in South Africa

Pre-1970: A President Theatre production was directed by Aubrey Berg, starring Sue Phillips, Mel Miller as Snoopy, Julie Blundell, Keith Anthony.

1978: Staged by CAPAB Drama from 1 December 1978 at the Nico Malan Theatre, directed by Eileen Thorns. The musical director was Gerry Bosman, the dance arrangements were by Jennifer Craig and the set and costumes by Penny Simpson. The cast consisted of Jonathan Rands (Charlie Brown), Philip Godawa (Snoopy), Marthinus Basson (Linus), Maria Schoeman (Lucy), Peter Cartwright (Schroeder) and Iza Trengove (Patty)

1981: Presented by PACOFS from 17 to 31 October 1981, at the Observatory Theatre, directed by Henry Mylne, designed by Hugo Taljaard. Musical arranger Noel Stockton, choreography by Jasmine Antonie starring Pieter Brand, Libby Daniels, Ronel Kriel, Heloïse Krynauw, Henry Mylne, Hugo Taljaard and Kym Thorburn.
