O'Flaherty V.C. is a one-act play by George Bernard Shaw.

The original text

A comic one-act play written during World War I about an Irish soldier in the British army returning home after winning the Victoria Cross and is used as part of a recruitment campaign among the Irish.

Published in a volume with, among other plays, Heartbreak House by Constable in 1931.

Performance history in South Africa

Presented by CAPAB's Theatre in the Round Company in 35 towns in the Northern Cape as far afield as Mafikeng and Port Nolloth in 1970, directed by Pietro Nolte.
