April Sizemore-Barber is an academic and researcher whose interest lies at the intersection of performance studies, gender/queer studies, and Africana studies.
An Assistant Professor of the Practice in Women’s and Gender Studies at Georgetown University, USA, she has published quite wdely on South African theatre and performance.
Publications include Prismatic Performances Queer South Africa and the Fragmentation of the Rainbow Nation (University of Michigan Press, 2020)
