Beer Adriaanse

Beer Adriaanse () is an actor, director, scriptwriter and musician.

Biography

Born Jacobus Petrus Adriaanse on 20 May, 1985, in Durbanville, he generally known as Beer Adriaanse. He attended Gene Louw Primary School in Durbanville and the Paul Roos Gimnasium in Stellenbosch, before attending the University of Stellenbosch (obtaining a BA and B.Phil. in journalism) and the University of Cape Town (M.Phil. in film and media).

He first became well-known as a founding member and the drummer of the Afrikaans rock band Zinkplaat.

Appeared in the films: Johnny is nie dood nie (2016), Forever (2016), Wonderlus (2017), Canary (2018), For Breakfast (2018), Parable (2020).

He has appeared in a number of TV Series, including, Neighborhood Watch (2015), Hotel (2016-2020, as "Thomas") and Fine Print (2018-2020, as "Piping Hanekom").
