The Sorrows of Satan can refer to any one of a large number of plays based on The Sorrows of Satan; or, The Strange Experiences of One Geoffrey Tempest, Millionaire, a popular novel by Marie Corelli (1855–1924)[1].

The Sorrows of Satan by Maurice H. Hoffman

A stage play in 4 acts called The Sorrows of Satan, written by Maurice H. Hoffman and based on the Corelli novel, opened at the Theatre Royal at South Shields, on December 31, 1897.

The Sorrows of Satan by Creagh Henry

A stage play in 4 acts called The Sorrows of Satan, written by Creagh Henry and based on the Corelli novel, opened at the Broadway Theatre, New York, on December 24, 1898.

Films based upon the book include Leaves from Satan's Book (1921) and The Sorrows of Satan (directed by D.W. Griffith, 1926).

In 2017 an Off West End musical version of the novel, also called The Sorrows of Satan, was written and produced by Luke Bateman and Michael Conley[2]
