Caiphus Semenya (born circa 1939). Musician. Also known as Katse Semenya.

He is married to fellow musician Letta Mbulu. They returned to South Arica in the 1990s after nearly thirty years in exile, having lived in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Nigeria.

He wrote the play Buwa.

ACT AWARDS (Arts &; Culture Trust Awards of the President) (Year?) Lifetime Achievement Award - Music: Caiphus Semenya.

The first South African Afro Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to him and his wife Letta Mbulu in 2015.
