Good Gracious, Annabelle is a romantic farce comedy in three acts play by American composer, lyricist and playwright Clare Kummer (1873-1958)[1].

The original text

Written in 1916, the play opened at the Theatre Republic, New York, on 31 October, 1916 and ran for 111 performances till 1 February, 1917. Published by Samuel French, New York, in 1922. The musical score was published in New York by McCarthy & Fisher, ©1919.

1918: First staged in South Africa at His Majesty's Theatre in Johannesburg, opening on 2 September 1918.
