Annette Engelbrecht. (born 1948) Actress, voice specialist, drama teacher.

She is married to the actor Will Roberts.

She was one of the stars of the PACT Afrikaans company in the 1960-1970s.

After 2000 she spent a total of eight years abroad, teaching at a drama school and attending various drama courses.

She offers a diploma course in drama at Uplands Collgege in Witrivier (2017).

Her many performances include roles in Hansie die Hanslam (1969), Die Laaste van die Takhare (1969), Lang Dagreis na die Nag (1970), Drie Susters (1970), Ampie (1970), Mattewis en Meraai (1970 and 1982), Hotel Paradiso (1971), Siener in die Suburbs (1971), Die Sterkste (1971), Vrede Tuis (1971), Die Bekentenis (1971), Kats in die Pekel (1972), Die Pantoffelmoordenaars (1972), Ousus (1972), Bart Nel (1972), Die Weerstaanbare Opkoms van Arturo Ui (1973), Andorra (1973), Toiings (1973), Babbelkous en Bruidegom (1973), Plaston: DNS-Kind (1974), Hedda Gabler (1974), Die Hamer van die Hekse (1975), 'n Seder val in Waterkloof (1975), Die Rebellie van Lafras Verwey (1975), 'n Man met Vakansie (1976), Die Vrek (1976), Die Reënmaker (1976), Die Drie Van Der Walts (1980), Don Juan onder die Boere (1986), Sing jy van Bomme (1988), Vonke uit Vuurklip (1999), Heilige Modder (2000).

She had a role in the 1974 film Fighter Pilots, 100 meter Leeuloop (2013) and in the television series Orkney Snork nie.

As director she did some plays for the Suid-Afrikaanse Polisie Toneelgeselskap in Pretoria in the early 1970s.
