District Six - Kanala is a musical tribute to the people and culture of District Six by David Kramer.

An indirect spin-off of District Six - The Musical and other works by David Kramer and Taliep Petersen play , the musical was created to celebrate the vibrant musical culture that was to be found in the streets, halls, hotels, clubs and bioscopes of 1960s District Six.

Written and produced by David Kramer, it opened in the Fugard Theatre, Cape Town, on 11 February 2016, precisely 50 years after the district had been declared a white group area on 11 February 1966.
