The King of the Dark Chamber by Rabinadrath Tagore.


1961: A New York production brought to Durban, South Africa by its Indian born, New York based, director Krisha Shah.

In 1963 Shah returned to Durban to conduct workshops, and this led to the founding of the influential Shah Academy in 1965 and the growth of Indic Theatre in the country.

Performance history in South Africa
