The Cape Illustrated Magazine was a societal and cultural magazine printed and published by Dennis Edwards and Co. (19 Long Sreet, Cape Town). It appeared from September 1890 (Volume I, part 1) December 1901 (to Volume XII, part 4). One of its regular contributors on theatre matters was W.G. Groom.
