The Journal of Southern African Studies is an international academic publication.


The journal

JSAS covers research on the Southern African region, focussing largely on Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Founded in 1974, it is currently published as a quarterly publication by Routledge (United Kingdom)
