Santa's Story is a one-woman show by Aviva Pelham.

The original text

Based on a memoir, the production details the journey of Pelham's mother, Santa Pelham, from Germany, to Spain, to France and then to Africa. It is a moving and cathartic experience from a story expressed through songs in 5 languages and wonderful live Klesmer music.

Santa's Story is performed by Aviva Pelham, and directed by Janice Honeyman with designs by Mannie Manim and Dicky Longhurst.

The production was first presented at the Fugard Theatre, Cape Town (Aug 2012), and subsequently toured to: Johannesburg, Theatre on the Square (February 2013); Helsinki (October 2013) at The Finlandia Hall; London (October 2014) at the Jewish Theatre complex; Hüerth (November 2014) at the Bürgerhaus; Cologne (November 2014) at the Comedia Theatre; New York (June 2015) at the Museum of Jewish Heritage at the International Folksbiene Yiddish Festival; Melbourne and Sydney (November 2017); Herzliya, Israel (March 2019).
