Madeleine Volschenk (19*-) is a public relations officer, singer, playwright, teacher.

Her name sometimes written Madelein Volschenk.

Training

She studied at the University of Pretoria, followed by a teacher's diploma at he University of Stellenbosch in the late 1980s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She joined BAT in 1995.

Plays include Die Held Daarna, Die Engel in die Wimpy Bar (performed in the Wimpy Bar in Oudtshoorn as part of the KKNK "Rimpelfees" in 1997), Man (S.nw) (KKNK, 2003), Man, Manner, Manste.

She wrote the musical Elke Vrou het 'n Fridge, performed in 1999.
