Stephanie Nieuwoudt (1963-2017) was a freelance journalist, critic and author.

Biography

Born on 9 January, 1963.

She lived in Kenya for 3 years and travelled widely throughout Africa. Her reviews and publications appear in newspapers, magazines and journals, as well as online publications. She also translates, proofreading and editorial work for publishers.

She passed away on 24 January, 2017.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She has done a number of reviews of plays and festivals, and done interviews with and profiles of performers and authors.

Among the plays reviewed have been Once Upon a Time,
