Die Seepsteenbataljon ("The soap-stone battalion") is the title of a radio serial (1972), a television serial (1978) and a published novelization (1978), all written by Kobus Louw.

The series

An Afrikaans comedy series for television, about a bumbling private detective with a good heart and a talent for grabbing the wrong end of the stick, it premiéred on 18 March 1976.
