Home to the Paarl Theatre Club since 1971, is a community theatre producing a variety of entertainment in both Afrikaans and English.

Actually built in an abandoned mill, the theatre consistes of

The Old Mill Theatre Paarl is situated in the heart of this beautiful pearl of the Boland, nestling against the slopes of Paarl Mountain. Both English and Afrikaans shows are hosted here and can even be hired by professional entertainers and others who seeks a venue for their productions. During the Cultivaria Festival during September this venue hosted shows like Soul with Loren Erasmus and Doppers en Filistyne with Eric Nobbs, just to mention a few. The chairs and layout of this classic place is also very comfortable and pleasant.

In the past the Theatre Club was responsible for the direct management and marketing of productions offered, but this has changed until further notice. You can go on-line to see which productions or shows will be featuring in this nice old place. We believe that every effort must be made to keep the Old Mill Theatre Paarl to host a variety of shows to honour the rich cultural past and that it can remain a milestone in “show business” as a heritage to our children.

The theatre is available for hire by professional entertainers and others seeking a venue for their productions. From 200*, no longer run by the Paarl Theatre Club, but run privately by **.
