Eerloos ("Without Honour"), a drama in three acts in Dutch by W.G. van Nouhuys. First performed in Rotterdam in 1890. Published in South Africa by Dusseau, 1944 and Van Schaik, 1958. Produced in Afrikaans by the André Rousseau Theatre Company in 1947, as a touring production.

Premièred in Afrikaans in July 1947, staged by the André Rousseau Theatre Company, directed by André Rousseau, with Marie Viljoen (Emma), André Rousseau (Fritz Halma), Zandberg Jansen (Karel and Antoon), Ria Louw (Anna) and Nico Lombard (Bracht).

Translations and adaptations

The play was a regular setwork for the Senior Certificate examinations in the 1940s and was one of the best known Dutch dramas in South Africa.
