-LANE, Manda.  (19*-) Actress. One of South Africa's most controversial and cutting edge actors, Amanda Lane won fame in her role in ''[[Popcorn]]'' and received the FNB Vita award for Best Actress. She has created various works including, ''[[Lane and Able]]'', ''[[Spookasem]]'' and recently co- produced ''[[One Night Stand]]'', a series of one man plays at the [[Wits Theatre]].
