Jonkvrou Edelwater (also referred to as Juffrou Edelwater), by the Chinese playwright Hsiung. It was translated into Afrikaans by Fred le Roux from the English version Miss Precious Stream. It was performed under the auspices of the ICTB as its first play in 1962 in Stellenbosch and at the Hofmeyr Theatre with Tine Balder in the title role. It received mixed reviews.
