Thulani Mtshali (19*-). Playwright.

In some sources, referred to as Thulani Sifeni or Thulani Sifeni Mtshali.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A founding member of and wrote for Bachaki Theatre since its inception in 1987.

Plays include Golden Gloves (1993), Devil’s Den (1995) and Weemen (performed 1996, published 1999).

She worked as co-ordinator for Acumda.

Her work is included in Black South African Women: An Anthology of Plays by Kathy Perkins, 1999.

Appeared in the play Prison Walls.
