The original text
Based on the writings of C.J. Langenhoven, this was one of the commissioned works dedicated to the Afrikaans author, created for the 1998 KKNK , the text developed by Merwe Scholtz and Chris Vorster.
Performance history in South Africa
1998: Directed by Chris Vorster at the 1998 KKNK, featuring Chris van Niekerk, Mary Dreyer, Marthinus Basson, Johan Esterhuizen, J.J. Fourie, Waldemar Schultz, Ira Blanckenberg, Lorraine Burger, Paul van Wyk and Hugo Theart.
