Die Jare is a TV film by Stephan Bouwer (1948-1999).

Not to be confused with the TV series Die Jare Daarna....

The film

The original script was written by Karel Schoeman (1939-2017) and the TV film directed by Stephan Bouwer.

The cast consisted of:

Percy Sieff, Wilma Stockenström, Wilna Snyman, Willie Esterhuizen, At Botha, Christo Potgieter, Willem Loots, Blake Toerien, Ester de Vries, Jan Prinsloo, Gigi Strydom, Susan Coetzer, Sulette Thompson (as Sulette Minnaar) and Lindy Horak.

The artistic and technical crew for the series included:

Charles Bengis (cinematography and lighting); Marita Klopper, Dehlia Rezek and Ester Worst (editing), Roux Engelbrecht (costume design); Cathy Druck and Thea Eygelsheim (makeup and hair), Claudius Hamman (property master / set dresser), Anna Lennox (set design); Frank Anibarro, Phillip Botha, Stash Couvaras, Hennie Hartmann, André Smit and Darryl Heilbrunn (sound) Greg Kietzmann and Don Williamson (final mix)
