1983: First performed at Kampustoneel by the University of Pretoria, directed by Louw Odendaal.

1985: Staged by PACT in the State Theatre in Pretoria and the Alexander Theatre in Johannesburg, directed by Louis van Niekerk, with Richard van der Westhuizen (Tonie), Trudie Taljaard (Ma), Woutrine Theron (Ouma), Jocelyn Broderick (Lena), Nico Liebenberg (Pa), Ben Kruger (Paul), Rita Ehlers (Estelle), Charlotte Butler (Engela), Frantz Dubrowsky (Wilhelmus), Johan Engelbrecht (various), Selma van der Vyver (various), Marina Mynhardt (various) and Deon Bredenhann (various). Designed by Johan Engelbrecht.
